Yogurt (curd) Benefits For face Skin ( face mask using Yogurt )

Yogurt helps revive a dull complexion. It is an excellent hydrating agent that removes dry, dead skin cells. Its acidic nature helps destroy acne-causing bacteria and germs. Zinc in yogurt helps lighten the blemishes and scars. There are many other benefits of yogurt such as it prevents redness of the skin, removes excessive oil, protects from harmful UV rays of the sun, and reduces tanning.

CUCUMBER, WATERMELON, YOGURT, MILK POWDER


This is one of the best face packs for sensitive skin. Cucumber in this pack helps provide relief from itching and burning sensation. Milk acts as a cleanser and watermelon works as a natural toner. Take 2 tbsp juice of both cucumber and watermelon. Add 1 tbsp of yogurt and 1 tbsp of milk powder to it. Make a smooth paste and apply the mix for 15 minutes on your face.

STRAWBERRY AND YOGURT


Strawberries contain ellagic acid which helps remove acne/pimple scars and blemishes. It is equally effective in reducing damage caused by the harmful UV rays. Mash some strawberries and add enough amount of yogurt to form a smooth paste. Apply the paste on your face and let it dry completely. Rinse off with cold water and pat dry thoroughly.

TOMATO, HONEY, AND YOGURT


The combination of honey, yogurt and tomato make the best face pack for fairness and tan removal. It nourishes the skin and makes it soft. Mix 1 tbsp of honey, 2 tbsp of yogurt and 2 tbsp of tomato puree in a bowl. Apply a thin layer of this mix using a brush on your face. Let it dry partially and apply another layer over it. Let the pack stay on your skin for 20 minutes and wash off afterward.

AVOCADO, OLIVE OIL, YOGURT


Avocado is rich in antioxidants, alpha-carotene, beta-cryptoxanthin, and lutein. It prevents aging and improves the skin’s texture. Olive oil maintains the elasticity of the skin and keeps it smooth and soft. For the face pack, mash some amount of avocado and mix ½ tbsp of olive oil and 1 tbsp of yogurt to it. Apply the paste on your skin for at least 20 minutes and wash off with regular water. Do this thrice a week for the better results.

APPLE, HONEY, YOGURT


To remove the excess oil from your face, try this face pack. Take half an apple and mash it using a blender. Mix 2-3 tbsp of yogurt and a few drops of honey to it. Mix all the ingredients well and apply it on your face in a circular motion. Let it dry and wash off with the regular water.

ORANGE AND YOGURT


Take peel of an orange. Dry it and grind it into a fine powder. Take 1- 2 tbsp of this powder and mix 1 tbsp of yogurt to it. Apply it on your face and leave it for 15 minutes. Do this twice a week for the glowing skin.

MANGO AND YOGURT


Mix some mango juice and yogurt together and form a smooth cream-like consistency. This mix will be thin, so apply it carefully. After applying the mixture, leave it for 20 minutes and wash off with water.

TURMERIC AND YOGURT


Turmeric has lots of antibacterial properties. It helps reduce pigmentation and improves skin’s elasticity. Take a tbsp or two of yogurt and add 1/4th tsp of turmeric to it. Mix them well and apply it on your face. Remove when dry. Do this once a week.
Note – Don’t go out in the sun after applying the face pack.

TOMATO, OATMEAL, AND YOGURT


This is another face mask for the dull and dry skin. Oats remove the skin cells and soften the skin as well. To get fair skin, take 1 tbsp tomato pulp, 1 tbsp oatmeal, 1 tsp yogurt and mix them well. Apply it on your face by gently scrubbing in a circular motion. Let it rest for 20 minutes and wash off later on.
