Mix one tablespoon of vitamin E oil, Vaseline and glycerin in a small container with lid. Before bedtime, gently massage it on your skin and rinse with a mild cleanser in the morning.
Anti ageing:
Glycerin has an ability to retain moisture, it can help maintain the elasticity of the skin and reduce appearance of wrinkles. Mix one part glycerin to ten parts water (one tbsp glycerin to ten tbsp water) in a spray bottle. Make it a habit to spritz this mixture every time you wash your face. This mixture is suitable for all skin types.
Makeup Remover:
Glycerin is commonly used in makeup removal products, as it doesn’t dry the skin and leaves a soothing effect. Take a mixture of glycerin and water on a cotton pad and wipe off your makeup.
Blackhead removing mask:
Mix a tsp of fuller’s earth(multani mitti), two tsp of glycerin and two tsp of almond powder. Add water to form a thick mixture. Apply it all over your face, concentrating on areas of blackheads. Let it sit on your face until it’s dried. Wipe it off with a warm wash cloth.
Soft hands:
Keep a bottle of glycerin near your sink. Every time you wash your hands, apply a few drops of glycerin on your damp hands.
Leave in Hair Conditioner:
Glycerin works amazing as a leave in conditioner. When applied to hair, it helps to draw water from the air to the hair shaft, keeping your hair shiny and nourished.
Frizz Free Hair Tonic:
It also helps to avoid frizz, which is common in dry weather. Mix glycerin and water in the palm of your hand. Starting from the length of your hair, run your hand through your hair. You may add a few drops of your favourite essential oil to make your hair smell nice.
