Strawberry French Toast
Taking a nutritious and hearty breakfast is a best way to energize your body for a new hectic day. With a strawberry French toast, you can provide adequate nutrients to your body as well as the little one. For this, you will need following ingredients:
Ingredients
- Whole wheat bread: 6 slices
- Beaten eggs: 3
- Strawberry jam: 2 tablespoons
- Butter: 2 tablespoons
- Milk: 3/4 cup
- Salt: as per you taste
Take two tablespoons of jam in a pan and slightly warm it. Now add eggs, salt and milk in jam and stir all ingredients very well. Take two or three slices of bread as per your requirement. Dip these slices in the egg mixture and cook both sides of slice until it turns golden brown. In the last step cut the strawberry French toasts into triangles and enjoy healthy snacks.
Crunchy Pear Salad
Crunchy pear salad is a delicious diet for lunch and you can prepare it easily in very little time. For making this salad, you will need:
Ingredients
- Baby spinach: 4 cups
- Vinegar: 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
- Dijon mustard: 2 teaspoons
- Ripe pear: 1 (peel it and cut into thin slices)
- Minced shallot: 1
- Parmesan cheese: half cup
- walnut (chopped): quarter cup
- Salt
- Pepper
Mix the slices of pear and spinach in a small bowl. Now take vinegar, mustard, shallot, olive oil, pepper and salt in another small bowl. Mix all ingredients properly and mix them in the mixture of pear and spinach. Lastly, sprinkle some walnuts and cheese on the top.
