Makeup Beauty* Tips - Beauty Advice ( Summer Special )

Makeup is important in the summer, not just to even things out, but to keep your face protected from harmful UVA rays. This summer, pack a light makeup bag for summer time fun.

Whether you are hanging out at the beach or poolside, here are a few makeup tips that will keep you looking hot!

Summer brings lots of excitements with it, but melting makeup, sliding eyeliner, and supersticky lipstick are not among them. I am going to give some tips to let your make up stay longer and fresh. 

TIPS:
Before you start doing make up, Apply ice packs on face it reduces sweating to a larger extent.

• Use lighter foundation during summer time. 
• Avoid using very heavy eye shadows and mascaras in summer. Instead, you should use lighter shades. 
• It's a good idea to use blush and highlight your cheeks a bit. Your cheeks can be more highlighted with the use of pinks or brown.
• Keep your lips moisturized and prevent drying and cracking in the summer. Make the maximum use of lip glosses with gentle shades.

1. Don’t let it melt off.

Waterproof mascara, eyeliner and lip liners will help when that big splash of water heads right in your direction.

2. Lighten up!

For a nice light, even coverage on your face try a tinted moisturizer. (I like Aveeno’s Positively Radiant tinted moisturizer with SPF 30.)

3. Skip the lipstick.

For lips, ditch the heavy color and try a colored lip balm that’s light and moisturizing. I like Burt’s Bees lip balms and they come in a variety of shades.

4. Don’t forget about your cheeks.

Cheeks stains add just the right amount of color to your already sun-kissed face.  Tarte Cosmetics makes a nice cheek stain.

5. Sunscreen!

Always, always, always apply sunscreen. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen to your hands and ears too. My favorite sunscreen is by Coola Organic Suncare. They also carry a line of sun care products for babies.
